W Anarch-Tea

THE AFTERNOON TEA WITH THE W TWIST

W London turns British tradition on it’s head with it’s signature afternoon tea offering. Each dish represents an iconic song from some of London’s most disruptive decades: “God Save the Queen – The Sex Pistols”: a red, white and blue Battenberg, complete with it’s marzipan icing crown, and “Shut-Up – The Stranglers”: a pair of red lips made from a strawberry mousse, sealed with a silver zip. Even if you don’t have a dangerously sweet tooth, you can enjoy a “Gang of Four” smoked salmon or roast beef Finger sandwich. Our cheese loves really enjoy the aged Montgomery Cheddar with red onion Marmalade. For those feeling extra rebellious, order up a “Lust for Life” cocktail (for £10) with punchy Cachaca, zesty lime, sugar and passion fruit. Our Anarch-Tea has no rules - anything goes...

A Rocking Setting – Soho

Honouring the greats

Those of you clued up with rock history will know that British Punk was born in the Kings Road Chelsea but really became a fully-fledged force in the clubs and nightspots of Soho and the surrounding area. In this very place in September 1976 the famous 100 Club hosted the first ever-punk spectacle, featuring all time greats such as the Sex Pistols, Siouxsie and the Banshees and The Clash and more. An edgy afternoon tea in Soho is the perfect way to play tribute to the revolutionaries that once walked these streets.
